Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Apply paint to various surfaces and textures
• Utilize hand brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Mix and match finishes according to specifications
• Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces
• Ensure walls are clean and remove any decorations before starting to paint
• Remove outlet and switch covers
• Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic for protection
• Calculate and estimate materials and project cost
• Use caulking guns or putty knives to fill cracks, holes, and joints
• Apply several coats
• Install and dismantle scaffolding and raise ladders
• Purchase paint from vendors and negotiate prices
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Position Requirements:

• Previous painting experience is strongly preferred
• Completion of an apprenticeship is a plus
• Knowledge of painting material and methods
• Manual dexterity and balance to work on ladders
• Ability to stand for an extended time
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently and with a team
